With a special tribute of gratitude for Turkish hospitality, two musicians who are unable to meet in either of their homelands share their music for the first time in tonight's performance in Istanbul. Come and travel to another world of Persian Classical music and related forms with Iranian composer, poet and multi-instrumentalist Nima Janmohammadi and American percussionist and singer Rowan Storm.

Rowan Storm - voice, Persian dayereh, erbani (daff)
Nima Janmohammadi began playing setar at the age of 7 and is a recent graduate of Tehran Music University. Nima is an accomplished composer and published poet, and he is currently translating the poetry of İlham Berk into Persian language. Nima has trained and performed with many of the greatest masters of Persian Classical music.
Rowan Storm is recognized internationally for her performances of Middle Eastern music and percussion, singing in several languages, and her unique Essential Frame Drum Method workshops which she teaches throughout the world.
